Financial Literacy and Consumer Protection

In 2011, ICC carried out two consultancies, in Guatemala and Honduras, on behalf of the Inter-American Development Bank, with the objective of developing regulations, tools y mechanisms to improve consumer information and protection, as well as strengthening the supervisory processes on customer service in supervised financial institutions.

That same year, we designed an Strategic Plan for the Honduran Banking Supervisor to improve the general public financial literacy, through a communication campaign.
