Consultant specialised in regulatory affairs with expertise in policy development and advocacy relating to securities regulation, mutual funds, wealth management and banking, as well as a range of other legal and regulatory areas.
Previously he was Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs at Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada, Legal Counsel at the Canadian Bankers Association and a corporate finance lawyer and Corporate Secretary with the Ontario Securities Commission.
As a consultant, he has worked on several projects to develop the financial legal framework for microfinance and financial instruments in developing countries.
